Principal's Message

PRINCIPAL’S WELCOME                                                                                            

Greetings Falcons!  I am incredibly fortunate to be able to serve as the Principal of Fairgrove Elementary School.  I thoroughly enjoy working with all members of our learning community … a community that focuses on the education of each of our students in grades TK-6.  I am looking forward to an interesting year … The pandemic our world is currently experiencing requires us to work together via distance learning.  Even though we won’t be seeing each other on campus each day, the year will be a great one for all members of our community! 

Students:  I am excited about meeting students new to Fairgrove and reconnecting with those of you who are returning.  I very much look forward to learning and working with you and will be visiting your Google Classrooms often to see you hard at work on your “main job” … Being the best student you can be!  I thoroughly enjoy observing students in action and know the educational activities you participate in will assist you in learning the specific standards for your grade level.

Parents:  Learning is best accomplished when there is a strong connection between home and school.  Therefore, you are key to building a relationship with Fairgrove Elementary School.  Distance learning definitely precludes us from working together in person.  I do, however, look forward to working together with you to provide the support your child needs.  Please contact me if you have any questions about your child’s Google Classroom(s).  Also, if at all possible, please participate in Fairgrove Elementary’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).  We will be meeting in the near future and throughout the year and hope you will be able to join PTO and work with additional parents and staff to support the instructional program at Fairgrove.

Community Members:  Fairgrove Elementary School is counting on you to be involved in our school.  We truly need your support and will greatly benefit by your participation.  While there are currently no in-person events scheduled, we certainly hope community members will touch base with staff when possible.  Fairgrove Falcons are future community leaders.  Thanks, in advance, for supporting their development!

I am committed to supporting our teachers and staff to provide an effective and positive distance learning culture and educational experience that engages, challenges, and inspires all students at Fairgrove Elementary School.  When our Falcons succeed, we all succeed.  I am a lifelong learner and very much look forward to learning virtually alongside each of you throughout the 2020-2021 school year.  Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your principal.  Go Falcons!
