Hello,
At Fairgrove, our students are working on showing all aspects of our RICE (respect, integrity, cooperation, and empathy) positive behavior system.  This is what binds our school community together and makes it a safe, welcoming place for everyone to learn and grow. This week I would like to highlight integrity.
Integrity is often described as doing the right thing when no one is watching. In a school environment, it is the foundation upon which trust, respect, and true learning are built. It shapes not only how our students perform academically, but also who they become as individuals.
What Integrity Looks Like at School
  • In the Classroom: Academic integrity means taking pride in your own work. It means completing assignments honestly, giving credit where credit is due, and understanding that mistakes are essential stepping stones in the learning process.
  • In Hallways and Common Areas: Integrity means treating peers, teachers, and staff with kindness and respect. It means standing up against bullying, taking accountability for one's actions, and caring for our shared campus.
  • In Digital Spaces: Operating with integrity extends online. We encourage our students to exercise good judgment and digital citizenship.
I would like to highlight Mrs. Christensen's fourth-grade class for showing integrity when the teacher was out on school business. This class showed integrity with the guest teacher, and  100% of the students followed directions even in the absence of their classroom teacher. Way to Go!

Thank you,
Mrs. David

Golden Egg Spotlight-Celebrating Our Early Childhood Support Team

This week, I am thrilled to shine our Staff Spotlight on four incredible educators who serve as the backbone of our early learning community: Ms. Aline, Ms. Cristina, Ms. Ashley, and Ms. Maddie.

Daily Classroom Support In TK & K
Working directly with our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten (K) students, Ms. Aline, Ms. Cristina, Ms. Ashley, and Ms. Maddie play an essential role in fostering a positive foundational learning environment. Early childhood education requires immense patience, adaptability, and care. From assisting with hands-on academic centers and guided reading groups to guiding foundational routines, these educators work tirelessly alongside teachers to ensure every child receives personalized attention and care.

Leading Flight Academies
Beyond academic support, our Instructional Assistants are vital leaders in guiding student behavior and social-emotional development. They help run our Flight Academies, specialized sessions focused on teaching critical social-emotional learning and positive behavior strategies.

Ensuring Campus Safety and Care
Their impactful work extends far beyond the classroom doors. Every day, Ms. Aline, Ms. Cristina, Ms. Ashley, and Ms. Maddie are present on the playground during recess and in the cafeteria during meal times to keep our students safe and nourished.

Please join me in extending a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Aline, Ms. Cristina, Ms. Ashley, and Ms. Maddie for their unwavering commitment to our school community.

Community Survey

Please take a few moments to fill out this brief survey to gather possible opportunities for our students at Fairgrove to benefit from resources in our community for real-life learning and skills.  The purpose of this survey is to gather information.
Thank you!
