Happy Sunday!
This week, I wanted to highlight some fun things that have been happening at school.
Mr. O'Hare has been leading a kickball tournament for grades 4-6th at morning recess. We are hoping to bring this down to our lower grades in the future.
We have two new soccer goals on our field.  Students have been focusing on learning the rules of soccer and even practicing drills.  This week, we will continue to play safe with student referees!
Last week we celebrated Walk or Roll to School Day. Students were able to pick out a prize and snack as they entered campus.
Lastly, you may have noticed our mural painting has been completed. The office wall now has our "pathway to success"! Thank you, PTO, for this project.
Warmly,
Mrs. David

Golden Egg Spotlight-The Dynamic Second Grade Duo

This week, we are thrilled to shine our Teacher Spotlight on our outstanding 2nd-grade team: Mrs. Sanchez and Ms. Kuchera!

Literacy Leaders in Action
If you want to see literacy expertise in action, look no further than Mrs. Sanchez and Ms. Kuchera. As key leaders in piloting our Magnetic Literacy curriculum last year, they have truly become our campus ELA experts. Their deep knowledge of evidence-based reading instruction and thoughtful implementation have transformed ELA blocks into engaging, high-growth learning experiences. They make complex reading, writing, and phonics skills accessible and exciting for every young learner in their classrooms.

Leaders Beyond the Classroom
In addition to their work with students, Mrs. Sanchez and Ms. Kurchera invest incredible time into our broader school community. Their dedication touches nearly every corner of our campus through their active leadership on multiple key committees: Guiding Coalition, Tier 1 Team, and Sunshine Committee.

Heart for Every Student
At the core of their partnership is a shared commitment to equity and student-centered growth. Mrs. Sanchez and Ms. Kuchera work tirelessly to differentiate instruction, foster strong classroom relationships, and create an environment where every child feels seen, capable, and empowered to succeed.

Thank you, Mrs. Sanchez and Ms. Kuchera, for your leadership, expertise, and dedication to our second graders and our entire school community!

Community Survey

Please take a few moments to fill out this brief survey to gather possible opportunities for our students at Fairgrove to benefit from resources in our community for real-life learning and skills.  The purpose of this survey is to gather information.
Thank you!
