Principal's Message:

Welcome to October!
We are so proud of how hard our students have been working, and we look forward to another wonderful month of growth together.

As we move into this new month, we would like to share an important reminder regarding our lunch drop-off policy to ensure a safe, efficient, and orderly environment for all students during lunch periods.
Lunch Drop-Off Guidelines:
  • Student-Specific Drop-Offs Only: Any meals or food items dropped off at the main office must be intended solely for your own child.
  • No Shared or Group Food: Parents and guardians may not drop off extra food, fast-food group orders, or sharing platters (such as pizza boxes) for groups of friends or entire classrooms.
  • Labeling Required: All items must be clearly labeled with your student’s first and last name as well as their grade level before being left at the front desk.
These guidelines help us protect student allergies, minimize dietary risks, prevent instructional distractions, and keep our front office running smoothly.
Warmly,
Mrs. David

Golden Egg Spotlight-Mrs. Bautista

This week, we are thrilled to shine our light on an extraordinary member of our school community—our incredible school counselor, Mrs. Bautista!

Supporting Daily Social-Emotional Learning
Mrs. Bautista works directly with students each day, guiding them through vital social-emotional learning skills. Whether helping students navigate friendships, manage emotions, practice mindfulness, or build problem-solving skills, her door is always open. She ensures that every child feels heard, supported, and valued.

The WellNest: Connection & Teamwork
One of the most beloved initiatives led by Mrs. Bautista is the Recess WellNest! The "Nest" offers students a fun, safe, and structured environment during break times where they can:
  • Play board games and cooperative activities with peers.
  • Engage in team-building exercises that promote kindness.
  • Take a relaxing break and recharge before finishing their school day

Leadership & Student Growth Teams
Beyond her direct work with students, Mrs. Bautista is an active advocate across our campus. She serves on numerous school committees and support teams focused on student growth, academic progress, and overall well-being. Her collaborative spirit and insight ensure that our support systems are tailored to meet every student's unique needs.

Championing Our RICE System
Mrs. Bautista plays a key role in managing our school's RICE system, promoting our core values of Respect, Integrity, Cooperation, and Empathy (RICE). Through her leadership in organizing and hosting the popular RICE Raffles, she celebrates students who demonstrate positive behavior and character!

Drop Off and Pick Up

Thank you for helping to make school drop-off and pick-up go smoothly. Here are a few reminders:
  • Please stay in your car in the red drop-off area
  • Pull all the way up when dropping off and do not go around other cars to drop off
  • When leaving the parking lot, merge to the exit and only turn right
All of these things will ensure a safe and effective drop-off and pick-up.
