Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we wrap up another great week, I want to share a few quick safety updates regarding our dismissals and campus routines.

First, thank you for helping to keep traffic flowing and pick up and drop off by pulling all the way through and staying in your vehicles. For those who wait to meet their parents in the grass areas, we have noticed several students getting overly excited and running and playing in crowded pick-up areas and walkways. To keep everyone safe, please remind your children to wait calmly when meeting you after school.

Additionally, a friendly reminder regarding wheels on campus: bikes and scooters must be walked at all times once on school grounds, including the areas right outside the main entrance gates. Riding wheels through high-foot-traffic zones creates a collision risk for our students, younger siblings, and staff.

If you walk down the first-grade hallway (The Quiet Zone), you are guaranteed to find two things: joyful learning and the unstoppable duo of Mrs. Burnum and Mrs. Aniotzbehere. Together, they bring warmth, high standards, and energy to our school every single day.

 Teaching a child to read is one of the most critical steps in early education, and this team has it down to a science. Mrs. Burnum and Mrs. Aniotzbehere make phonics, decoding, and sight words engaging and accessible for every young learner. Through interactive reading groups, dynamic phonemic awareness activities, and a print-rich classroom environment, they ensure that every first grader builds a strong foundation and a genuine love for books.

 Their dedication doesn't stop at their classroom doors. Mrs. Burnum and Mrs. Aniotzbehere are the true heart of our staff, always looking for ways to lift up their colleagues. They make sure everyone around them feels supported, valued, and connected.

 No matter how busy the week gets, both Mrs. Burnum and Mrs. Aniotzbehere greet students, parents, and staff with welcoming smiles and bright attitudes. Their optimism sets an encouraging tone for the entire school.
